Gabriel Bita is currently a MSU Denver adjunct piano faculty member, collaborative pianist, freelancing in the Denver area, and previously at the University of Northern Colorado. He formerly was the full-time staff accompanist at Texas Woman’s University, where he frequently performed on degree recitals. Gabriel has previously taught applied piano lessons, class piano, coached instrumental and vocal students, as adjunct faculty at the University of Northern Colorado, University of North Texas, and Texas Woman’s University. He was the recipient of the prestigious Rudolf Serkin Scholarship, and the national ARTS Award, and he has performed concertos with the Fort Collins Symphony, Fort Worth Chamber Orchestra, Filharmonica de Jalisco in Guadalajara, Mexico, Columbus Symphony, Ashland Symphony, Canton Symphony, and Denton Chamber Orchestra. Gabriel has performed solo recitals throughout the United States, France, Italy, Germany, Romania, and Japan, with concerts in Tokyo and Asahikawa, with critical acclaim.
